Petite ProjectsPetite Projects are small projects donated by EGA teachers and designers so that members can learn a new technique by doing a small project. We provide a new project every two months in the Petite Projects group, which also offers a discussion group for the projects. Many times the teacher joins us for those two months. These pictures are of Petite Projects stitched by our members. Click on the picture for a larger image. The box lid was our first Petite Project, "Nose Gay of Roses. A silk ribbon embroidery" by designer Margaret Kinsey. The pincushion is from the project "Assisi Embroidery Pin Cushion" by Janet Salerno. CameoRoze stitched the pincushion and the box lid and finished the box. The heart is "Victorian Heart Necklace", designed by Carolyn Sherman and stitched by Margaret S. Lynn B stitched "Twisted Ribbons," a design by Dorothy Bennett. All pictures used with permission Because the Petite Projects were designed to be used at meetings, they are only available for two months (from meeting to meeting.) After that if a member wants a copy of the project they can buy it directly from EGA. (See the EGA web site for a list and order them on the order form given there.
