The Cyberstitchers chapter is offering a special opportunity to take a class on color theory. Terry Dryden will be teaching Whirlygig, an online class offered from October 1 to November 30. Please email email@example.com with any questions. Registration will close on July 31, 2015.
You MUST have a valid email address, an account with Yahoo groups and regular access to a computer as all lessons will be released online and Terry will be available to answer questions also. You will also need 16" stretcher bars and regular stitching supplies.
Whirlygig is swirling with lots of color and pattern and includes 10 over-dyed silk and cotton threads among the 17 threads used in the design. You will have fun stitching a variety of "small stitches" in one color combination, then be surprised at the results when you rearrange the colors and stitch them again. (Each pattern is stitched two times....once each in very different colors). Each stitching area has compensating stitches and you will be a compensation expert when you're done. The finished project is adaptable to many uses. The large center button is included in the kit.
