Starting April 1 we have two designs from Nicole Jarvis running as a stitchalong, the apple blossom and the robin. Nicole's designs can be found on her website:

We don't have any more stitch a longs or classes in the "go" stage. But if anyone wants to suggest a project/designer for a SAL we can see about doing another one or two later this summer
BEE (Big Education Event) 2016:
We had three classes with the minimum votes so that's what we'll go with : Isabella, Taming the Stash Monster and Beginning Teneriffe Lace.

Lightening Rounds:

What is a Lightning Round?

These are four rotating courses that are offered quarterly for all EGA members to register for without a group.  This is particularly favorable for Members-At-Large and small EGA chapters that have difficulty filling a larger group in order to take a Group Correspondence Course.  “The GCC Lightning Rounds” will include four courses every three months.  The registration schedule for these quarterly courses is as follows: March to May, June to August, September to November, and December to February. The time to complete your course remains the same – just the window for registration is limited.

The following group courses are open to individuals at the special rate of $30 per student plus text fee.

The 2016 CyberStitchers UFO Challenge!

Our UFO Challenge has been among the most popular activities in our group during the last 3 years.  Now it’s time to sign up to participate in the 2016 Challenge.  It’s easy to register and fun to take part in this activity!
Go to the CyberStitchers_EGA group, the one that we use for our business meetings, click “more,” then “database” and choose the database labeled “2016 UFO Challenge.”  Or, if direct links to Yahoo groups work for you, go to and you should be at the database.  Enter your name and the titles of up to 5 UFOs.  Pick the ones that are calling your name and telling you “Me, Me – finish me”!!!  Any UFO that you have resumed work on since February 1, 2016 is eligible for this year’s challenge.
Then, through the year, as you finish a project, go back to the database and mark it FINISHED.  Post a photo of your finished project in your usual location within the group.  And tell use about the project in a post to the Chat4CyberStitchers group.  You can do a little Happy Dance, too, if you are so inclined.  Each finished UFO gets you one entry in a fabulous CyberStitchers drawing for a prize.  Early in 2017 next year, we will pick the winners at random and announce the during our January business meeting.
BTW, I am leaving the 2015 Challenge database in place for a few weeks, so that you can review your entries from last year. You can move an entry to the 2016 challenge, if you didn’t finish it.  So please be careful to enter your new challenge project in the 2016 database.
Ready, set, go!  Best of luck to all who enter!
